During the first three weeks of the summer break NEWydd have been providing meals to children as part of the Food and Fun programme at 13 schools across Flintshire.
Food and Fun, formerly the School Holiday Enrichment Programme (SHEP) is a "school based programme delivered across Wales, which provides healthy meals, food and nutrition education and physical activity to children".
This is the fifth year the programme has been delivered within Flintshire and NEWydd are proud to have been part of that delivery since its roll out.
The team at NEWydd HQ have been hard at work supporting the Food and Fun programme over the last two weeks, having just completed the packing of 500 bags for distribution across Flintshire School sites.
